1 Fraud 
(1) A person is guilty of fraud if he is in breach of any of the sections listed in subsection (2) (which provide for different ways of committing the offence). 
(2) The sections are— 
(a) section 2 (fraud by false representation), 
(b) section 3 (fraud by failing to disclose information), and 
(c) section 4 (fraud by abuse of position).

A conspiracy may involve the doing of an act by one or more of the parties, or the happening of an event, in a place outside England and Wales which constitutes an offence in that other jurisdiction.

This situation is covered by section 1A of the Criminal Law Act 1977. Section 1A has four conditions, which all must be met if the section is to apply.

1 The offence of conspiracy
[(1)F1 Subject to the following provisions of this Part of this Act, if a person agrees with any other person or persons that a course of conduct shall be pursued which, if the agreement is carried out in accordance with their intentions, either— 
(a) will necessarily amount to or involve the commission of any offence or offences by one or more of the parties to the agreement, or 
(b) would do so but for the existence of facts which render the commission of the offence or any of the offences impossible, 
he is guilty of conspiracy to commit the offence or offences in question.]

WHEREAS it is the inalienable right of a people to be free and independent;
AND WHEREAS Malaysia was established on the 16th day of September, 1963, by a federation of the existing states of the Federation of Malaya and the States of Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore into one independent and sovereign nation;
AND WHEREAS by an Agreement made on the seventh day of August in the year one thousand nine hundred and sixty-five between the Government of Malaysia of the one part and the Government of Singapore of the other part it was agreed that Singapore should cease to be a state of Malaysia and should thereupon become an independent and sovereign state and nation separate and free and independent of Malaysia;
