KUALA LUMPUR, December 10, 2015–
Police will record a statement from former PetroSaudi executive Xavier Andre Justo in Bangkok on December 15
Bukit Aman CID deputy director (investigation and law) Datuk Amar Singh said that he will be heading the special police investigative mission to Bangkok on that date. 
"Our counterparts in Bangkok have given the approval for us to interview Justo," said Amar when contacted. 
Justo, who is a Swiss national, was sentenced to three years jail on August 17 after pleading guilty to blackmailing his former employer PetroSaudi International.

MACC ADMITS: WE'VE MET DONOR OF RM2.6BIL
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had [said] in the Dewan Rakyat on December 3 that MACC has identified the donor of the RM2.6 billion political fund and that Bank Negara Malaysia has been informed of the account.

KOTA BARU, December 7, 2015–
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today confirmed that it has sent a team to the Middle East to meet the donor of the RM2.6bil political fund.

MACC investigations division director Datuk Azam Baki said the meeting with the donor was held recently.

However, Azam could not disclose any details, including the identity of the donor, as investigations were ongoing.

"Investigations into the case are still ongoing. Once we have completed our investigation, we will hand over the findings to the Deputy Public Prosecutor, who will decide on the next course of action.

I, Charles Suresh Morais (NRIC No.620427-10-5707), a Malaysian citizen of full age and residing at 4789 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Suite A 137, Atlanta, Georgia 3038, USA do hereby solemnly and sincerely declare and state as follows:

1. I am one of four siblings and the younger brother of Anthony Kevin Morais (Kevin), now deceased. My other brothers are David Ramesh Morais (David) and Richard Dilaan Morais (Richard). They are both younger than me. I have no sisters.

2. All four siblings were born in Kuala Lumpur. My father was the Deputy Director (Licensing) RTM. When I was about 10 years old my father was posted to Ipoh and so the whole family moved there. My mother and father lived in Ipoh until they passed away. Before my father’s posting to Ipoh, he had been transferred to Kluang and Malacca for 3 year stints each.


3. I attended the Anderson School in Ipoh until I finished Form 5. After that I was sent to India to do a pre-university course at the Christ College Bangalore. After completing my pre-university course, I attended the University of South Alabama, USA, to pursue a degree in computer Science and Business Management. That was in 1984. I have remained in the USA since.


4. I am now a successful businessman in Hotel investments in the USA and also in IT. I live in Atlanta, USA, and I have one son. I am divorced from my wife.


5. I have always been very close to Kevin, more so than Richard and David. I used to return to Ipoh from time to time from the USA to visit my parents and Kevin. Richard and David lived in Kuala Lumpur. Kevin started off as a Magistrate in Sungai Siput in the 1980’s after he had completed his chambering with a firm of solicitors in Ipoh.

Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) would be fielding 10 new faces in the coming state election, said its president Tan Sri Adenan Satem.

"Out of the 40 seats that PBB will probably be contesting, there may be 10 new faces, five for the new seats and of course there are those (incumbents) who have indicated their desire to retire," said the Sarawak Chief Minister, who is also the state Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman.

HIGH COURT NOTIFIED OF MAHMUD'S SUCCESSFUL APPEAL
The Kuala Lumpur Shariah High Court was today informed that the Shariah Appeals Court had on July 14 ruled in favour of Sarawak entrepreneur Mahmud Abu Bekir Taib in the child maintenance claim brought by former wife Shahnaz Abdul Majid against him.

The decision was conveyed to Kuala Lumpur Shariah High Court Registrar Nor Faiz Afsal Abu Bakar by Mahmud’s counsel Zainul Rijal Abu Bakar, Saadiah Din and Muhammad Izaan Azalan. Mohd Rafie Mohd Shafie and Akberdin bin Abdul Kader, who act for Shahnaz were, however, not present.

The appellate court had last month unanimously ruled that Shahnaz had no locus standi to bring the claim as their son Raden Murya Abdul Taib Mahmud had reached the age of majority on his eighteenth birthday.

Thai authorities have requested a postponement of an interview of 1MDB leaker Xavier Andre Justo by Malaysian police, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, according to the Inspector-General of Police, Khalid Abu Bakar. 
The Thai authorities had set December 8 as the date for us to interview Justo,” he said in Serdang today. “But on Friday I was informed that they have requested a postponement and they will give us a later date.” 
Khalid said Malaysian police had been ready for the interview with Justo in Bangkok.
