Amidst the obviously rehashed and discarded "explosive" news reporting by "reputable" news outlets, lies hidden the true picture why these stories are time-released by exactly the same culprits. The NINE QUESTIONS Panel will gradually flatten these characters with the weight of the ultimate truth.
The past second week of September went by with such a flurry of announcements and 'leaks' from Sarawak Report and allies about their calls for one investigation or another, and just as it was in 2013, these very same actors faffle between themselves on who gets to report which of the plentifully debunked stories this time around.

In this latest multi-pronged attack against the Malaysian establishment, the Prime Minister is now attacked by Al Jazeera, and the Sydney Morning Herald 'broke' the story about the Governor of Sarawak with an "explosive revelation" about the Tun Pehin Sri's (catchall phrase, "Taib-family") "secret holdings" in Adelaide.
Naturally, upon reading the article, several facts jumped out, screaming for attention.

SIMPLE FACTS NOT CHECKED, ERRORS SIMPLY REPRODUCED
The following evidence shows that Mr Michael West of Sydney Morning Herald embarrassingly and glaringly mixed very basic facts, as shown below where he can't seem to even be able to distinguish between the world-famous Tun Dr Mahathir and Tun Taib (middle).
The fact that the very obvious error - as shown in negative print below - isn't immediately corrected (at the time of writing, this article is three days old) shows that the Sydney Morning Herald is clearly sloppy with their facts and does not emphasise factual accuracy as a matter of standard procedure at best, and at worst is simply a mouthpiece for a certain agenda.
Up until the time of writing, we are still unsure if the author has trouble telling between the two mega personalities, or between his left and right, or if he is a little distant about the concepts of far and near.

RE: ALLEGATIONS FAMILY OF MALAYSIAN BILLIONAIRE TAIB MAHMUD 'LAUNDERED' MONEY IN AUSTRALIA
Dear Michael West,
We are the Panel for the NINE QUESTIONS FOR SARAWAK REPORT, and we read with great interest your latest article, titled as above.
We also note with great interest that your article has also referred to the Bruno Manser Fonds, namely Lukas Straumann as the source of this latest 'exposé'.
It is not our intention to divert from any possible investigation that will be prompted in relation to this reporting, as we firmly believe that the course of justice, when proceeded smoothly and fairly, will bring about the desired outcome for all.
Having noted our position on this particular matter, we would also like to bring to your attention, the facts that the NINE QUESTIONS Blog have been uncovering concerning this highly suspect partnership between Lukas Straumann and the now alleged treasonous conspirator (facts centered around the Justo confession, and the testimonies of her admitted co-conspirator), Clare Rewcastle Brown.
Of the facts contained inside, the key fact that we possess, that ties up the stunningly interconnected case is the recent finding by the High Court of Singapore that the testimony given by Dato Ting Check Sii for 'Suit no 783 of 2012' are based on fabrications.
This is on top of the fact that countless court cases conducted in Malaysia had also determined his testimony to be faulty at best, and fabricated at worst.
For Mr West's information, Dato Ting initiated around twenty proceedings against his former best friend and partner, Datuk Tufail and ultimately, [Ting] did lose and is losing fairly and squarely in legitimate law courts, within and outside of Malaysia, so there is no question of corruption on the part of the [Defendant].
Dato Ting's testimony are being prominently relied upon by Sarawak Report on its articles, and Bruno Manser Fond's now-determined-to-be-fictional book, the notorious Timber Mafia.
It is interesting to note that both publications rely solely on court depositions and affidavits of disgruntled businessmen, but never even once emphasized the outcomes of those individual cases that they cited.
This should be categorised as 'malicious falsehoods', and the fact that they are still freely going around accusing people not in their favour as criminals while ignoring actual court judgments around the world is worrying, as it suggests rampant impunity on the part of NGOs abusing their unlicensed media freedom to spread their own versions of reality, and incriminating otherwise innocent individuals in a sub-judicial manner.
In our Blog, which is growing with a burgeoning of fact-checked and verifiable information, we have presented a cursory uncovering of the real Bruno Manser Fonds, and we are convinced that they stand for much more than the 'rainforest and its peoples'.
Theirs is a economic-political agenda, which has relatively recently become aligned with the soon-to-be-found-fraudulent Sarawak Report and Rewcastle Brown, as [well as] the conspiracy case in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the UK (possibly in other jurisdictions as well).
We sincerely hope that Mr West and colleagues consider the facts contained within and presented by the NINE QUESTIONS FOR SARAWAK REPORT Panel in as clear a fashion as we are able to, using easily and legally obtainable data.
With a more nuanced view of the whole big picture, it is hoped that news reporting would become an even more stronger beacon of truth, bereft of misinformants who victimise everyone within their paths, in their quest for glory.

Both Dato Ting (Clare's informant for 'Suit no 783 of 2012', confirmed to fabricate evidence to be presented before the Singapore High Court) and Cullen Johnson (Clare Brown's ex-informant, now serving time in US jail over asset-tracing fraud), being unrelated to this latest 1MDB debacle, are obscured by the headlines, although the facts about him are solid, and they speak for themselves.

Needless to say, we are very disappointed at Mr West's non-response to our very serious and reasonable alert as to the factuality of his first reporting. Furthermore, we are also doubly disappointed with his reckless action of publishing the second article, which we have also ascertained to be fraught with simple, basic factual errors that are simply left unchecked.
Naturally, the NINE QUESTIONS Panel is asking Mr West, "If you are not able even to distinguish between Tun Dr Mahathir and Tun Taib - not even given three long days to check for possible errors - the latter supposedly being the familiar subject matter of your supposedly 'factual exposé', how are you sure that your whole article is accurate?"
In light of what we have presented both to our audience in public, and to Mr West earlier in private, we now know that Mr West is simply a mouthpiece for whatever agenda that has been set in motion.
Well, Mr West we shall enjoy reading your future articles with the full knowledge of your incapacity to discern between fact and fiction.
