CORRUPTION AT ITS WORST: ANTI-CORRUPTION HERO CLARE REWCASTLE MADE MARIONETTE FOR BIG MONEY?
Exclusive: British blogger and nature advocate, Clare Rewcastle Brown who dedicated her life work to battle corruption and saving the forests of Malaysia, is being sponsored by a wood exporting Swiss tycoon.

REPORTED BY CORRUPTION WATCHERS
According to new evidence, recently presented to Corruption Watchers by our sources, for the last few years, hundreds of thousands of euros were secretly channeled into Brown's business bank account, with the mysterious donor being Swiss billionaire Martin O. Pestalozzi.

What does this magnate from Switzerland have to do with a London based freelance journalist who protects nature?

Clare Rewcastle Brown is probably known best for her belligerent coverage of the deforestation phenomenon in Malaysia over the pages of her blog, Sarawak Report. Throughout the years she has revealed countless occurrences of corruption and misconduct, fighting for the environment and for justice. Another "quality" Brown is well-known for is her a total and utter vagueness surrounding her funding sources, the shocking revelations now clarify the reason behind this ambiguity.

The perturbing new evidence reveals that Pestalozzi himself is the co-founder and owner of an international company exporting the tropical precious wood called Teak. Pestalozzi's company's not-so-hidden goal is obtaining monopoly over the global Teak market, or in their words: "become [one] of the preferred suppliers of manufacturers around the world" (according to our source, the majority of the blog's revenue  [consists of] Pestalozzi's hefty grants).
But what role exactly does Brown play in Pestalozzi's "wood cartel"?

UK COURT RULES NO EVIDENCE THAT NAJIB AND MALAYSIAN JUDICIARY ARE CORRUPT
“Malaysians can now rest assured that Sarawak Report is nothing but a fake news portal that fabricated email transcripts, shopping receipts, banking documents, money trails and what have you, none of which were authentic, none of which would hold in the court of law.”

REPORTED BY THE THIRD FORCE

Last Wednesday, the 2nd of August 2017, a group of British lawyers representing PAS President Dato’ Seri Abdul Hadi Awang attended a Case Management hearing in London. The hearing was to decide the amount Hadi needed to deposit as security with the court in relation to a civil suit he is bringing against Clare Rewcastle Brown, the Chief Editor of Sarawak Report.
The suit pertains allegations by Sarawak Report that the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak, bribed the PAS president with RM90 million, money that Ms. Rewcastle claims originated from 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). To date, she has yet to furnish the court with evidence to substantiate her claims despite being given ample time to do so.
Yet, she asked the judge to fix £800,000 (about RM4.5 million) as the security Hadi needed to deposit with the court. The PAS president, on the other hand, offered to pay just RM80,000, arguing that the sum was “sufficient and uncontroversial.” Not only did the court accept Hadi’s offer, it ruled that Ms. Rewcastle herself needed to pay costs worth 15,000 pounds (about RM85,000) immediately and the balance upon assessment of the total cost.

BREAKING / CLARE BROWN GREEDILY EATS HER FOOT AT LONDON COURT; LOSES CASE MANAGEMENT HEARING AGAINST HADI

The NINE QUESTIONS Panel asks whether Clare Brown will be returning the over £30,000 in 'donations' collected for her legal fees, now determined to be much less than the wild figure of £800,000 she cunningly came up with, perhaps to garner more sympathy for her bogus cause - a conclusion seemingly shared by the courts in London despite CRB's desperately incessant protestations to the contrary.

Although the possibility that she would be needing a whole lot more than the current amount is tantalisingly within the horizon - and well deserved should the courts find against her. Which should lead the donors to kick themselves in the head for having parted with any sum to defend a person who would then have been proven the liar.

“This [deposit] is in the event he (Hadi) was to lose the case and would have to pay Rewcastle-Brown’s legal costs, which she estimates to be around £800,000 (RM4.5 million) in total for the whole hearing till completion.

REPORTED BY NEW STRAITS TIMES

KUALA LUMPUR, AUGUST 5, 2017 –
Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang’s case management involving his civil suit against Sarawak Report founder and editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown, favoured on behalf of the PAS president.
The Case management took place at the Courts in London, United Kingdom on August 2.
In a statement, Hadi’s political secretary Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar said the case management arose after Rewcastle-Brown applied to the court for the Marang member of parliament to deposit monies with the court as a security for legal costs involving the parties court proceedings.

He also cited WhatsApp exchanges between Mr Tong, two other people and himself as evidence, as well as meetings in Bangkok and Singapore between himself and Mr Tong and/or others. These allegedly included two meetings with Ms Clare Rewcastle-Brown, the owner and editor of The Sarawak Report, in a Bangkok hotel in 2014.

REPORTED BY THE STRAITS TIMES OF SINGAPORE
Details of the alleged deal behind the leaks that spawned claims about the misappropriation of billions at a Malaysian state investment firm linked to Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak may well unravel in the High Court in Singapore.

Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo, the man allegedly behind the leaks, is suing the owner of Malaysia's The Edge media group Tong Kooi Ong and two others for damages.

Justo claims that he handed over two data storage drives in Mr Tong's presence at a Fullerton Hotel meeting in February last year in return for US$2 million (S$2.7 million) - money which he never received.
He wants the items - which contain data about global oil services firm PetroSaudi and its business partner 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) - to be returned and for any copies to be destroyed, according to court documents filed last November.

LIKE IT OR NOT, NAJIB WINS THIS ROUND
Despite ongoing international probes into 1MDB, it is likely that the Opposition has been outplayed.

REPORTED BY FREE MALAYSIA TODAY

by Scott Ng
The release of the Public Accounts Committee report on the 1MDB scandal has been trumpeted as sweet vindication for our Prime Minister.
For the better part of the past 12 months, Najib Razak has been judged in the court of public opinion as a dictator, a perpetrator of grand corruption, an accessory to murder and even a coward. There have been videos of football fans belting out songs that call for his resignation, art works depicting him as a clown and even a case of someone screaming a profanity at him as he made his way through a crowd.
These have all instilled a belligerent mood amongst the rakyat, and the PAC report is not likely to silence his most ardent detractors. However, even with the investigations in Hong Kong, Switzerland, the United States and Singapore continuing, it is likely that the PM has won this round.

ON DONATIONS VERDICT - NAJIB RAZAK
"This issue has been an unnecessary distraction for the country. Now that the matter has been comprehensively put to rest, it is time for us to unite and move on." – PM Najib Tun Razak

REPORTED BY THE MALAYSIAN INSIDER
I welcome the statement issued today by the Attorney-General, Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali. The findings followed a thorough investigation by the relevant institutions, and he has confirmed what I have maintained all along: that no crime was committed.

‎I appreciate that political funding is a topic of concern to many people. That is why I first initiated political funding reform proposals in 2010. Unfortunately, these were blocked by the opposition at the time. However, I have instructed for them to be put forward again for discussion.

‎This issue has been an unnecessary distraction for the country. Now that the matter has been comprehensively put to rest, it is time for us to unite and move on.

‎I will now redouble my focus on the key issues that matter to Malaysia, especially combating the threat of terrorism, and strengthening the economy in the face of global headwinds.‎

IN ITS HASTE TO "PAINT NAJIB BLACK", SARAWAK REPORT EXPOSES ANWAR'S LINKS TO TERROR ORGANISATIONS

REPORTED BY MALAYSIAN DIGEST

KUALA LUMPUR, January 4, 2016 –
Recently Sarawak Report published what it intended as an expose aimed at the ruling Malaysian government and its links to PetroSaudi officials but instead exposed former Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's links to terror organizations in the Middle East.

Lim Sian See blog recently highlight a Sarawak Report article that reproduced an email between Nawaf Obaidi, the brother of Tarek Obaid, the CEO of PetroSaudi, with the Deputy National Advisor for International Economic Affairs in the US National Security Council (NSC), Michael Froman.

The email mentioned that Nawaf did a confidential background assessment and discovered Anwar has close ties with the Muslim Brotherhood network (Ikhwan Muslimin) that the US government deemed as a terror organization.

More alarmingly, we have found proof of Mr. Ibrahim’s ties with some of the leading brotherhood ideologues and financiers around the globe, such as Youssef Al Qaradawi, Yassin Qadi, Youssef Nada and others.

The International Institute of Islamic [Thought] in Virginia that was raided on numerous occasions by the federal authorities in the past several years and the nerve center of brotherhood financing in the US has Mr. Ibrahim as a founding member,” the email stated.

LSS Report highlighted the significance of the unintended revelation.

Those implicated in an alleged conspiracy to topple Datuk Seri Najib Razak's administration have been challenged to deny that they had any part or were involved in the WhatsApp group "Meet".
"Meet" was so named to signify a meeting the key personalities had in Singapore in February, and is part of the evidence Thai authorities had been looking into in its investigations into Xavier Andre Justo's blackmail of his former employer PetroSaudi International Ltd. It is a three-month long thread between Justo, Clare Rewcastle-Brown, who was acting as his broker, as well as The Edge Media Group's top guns, Datuk Tong Kooi Ong and Ho Kay Tat.

Petaling Jaya Utara member of parliament and Public Accounts Comittee member Tony Pua, while not a part of "Meet", was widely mentioned, especially by Rewcastle-Brown and Justo.

FOCUS / THE STRAWMAN'S FIRES

THE "BROWN-STRAUMANN" LINK
Amidst the obviously rehashed and discarded "explosive" news reporting by "reputable" news outlets, lies hidden the true picture why these stories are time-released by exactly the same culprits.  The NINE QUESTIONS Panel will gradually flatten these characters with the weight of the ultimate truth.

The past second week of September went by with such a flurry of announcements and 'leaks' from Sarawak Report and allies about their calls for one investigation or another, and just as it was in 2013, these very same actors faffle between themselves on who gets to report which of the plentifully debunked stories this time around.

In this latest multi-pronged attack against the Malaysian establishment, the Prime Minister is now attacked by Al Jazeera, and the Sydney Morning Herald 'broke' the story about the Governor of Sarawak with an "explosive revelation" about the Tun Pehin Sri's (catchall phrase, "Taib-family") "secret holdings" in Adelaide.

Naturally, upon reading the article, several facts jumped out, screaming for attention.

Note that as the article is evidently based on firmly and factually debunked sources, we shall not reproduce the said September 12, 2015 article, although it can be found by clicking on the link here.
