JUSTO'S LAWYERS REVEALED 'UNTAMPERED' 1MDB DOCUMENTS, CLAIMS RAMESH
Ramesh said the alleged tampering involved dates, names, figures and houses, among others. He, however, stressed that he could not reveal more details as the documents were part of Justo lawyer’s appeal affidavit.

REPORTED BY THE STAR ONLINE

PETALING JAYA, November 11, 2015
Ramesh Rao Krishnan Naidu claims that he has seen the “untampered” documents relating to 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

The Pertubuhan Minda dan Sosial Prihatin Malaysia president said he was granted access to the documents through former PetroSaudi International executive Xavier Andre Justo’s lawyer, Worrasit Piriyawiboon.

We are not making this up. We have seen the original documents and the tampered ones as published (in several reports),” he said here, Saturday.

Ramesh said the alleged tampering involved dates, names, figures and houses, among others. He, however, stressed that he could not reveal more details as the documents were part of Justo lawyer’s appeal affidavit.

Ramesh said he was shown the documents during a three-day visit to Bangkok, Thailand with his lawyer Zakwan Hafiz Ahmad Ansari on Tuesday.

The trip, he said, was their own initiative to “assist the Malaysian police in their investigation

On October 23, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said he would send his officers to Bangkok to interview Justo after permission was granted to them following a meeting between Malaysian and Thai police.

Ramesh, however, said he had yet to hear of any development from the police.

That’s why we took these initiatives to meet Justo’s lawyer so it would be easier for the police to conduct their investigation,” he said.

Based on the meeting with Worrasit, Ramesh said he was told that Justo was “100% willing” to meet with Malaysian police.

Ramesh said he felt compelled to pursue the matter as he was the one who lodged a police report for journalist Lester Melanyi over alleged fact-tampering by the Sarawak Report news portal.

The police report also claimed that Lester was reportedly used by Clare Rewcastle-Brown, who runs Sarawak Report and Radio Free Sarawak, to spread false news on the website to purportedly smear Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's “good name”.

I am hoping that the police would continue their investigations on Justo and Clare.

I would also like to challenge those who believed anything that was published on Sarawak Report as authentic to make a public apology,” Ramesh said.

On October 14, Justo appealed against a three-year prison term handed down by the Bangkok South Criminal Court on August 17 for blackmailing his former employer, PetroSaudi International.

Among the reasons for the appeal was that Justo did not tamper with the documents he obtained from PetroSaudi International and that it was his first offence.

His lawyer had said that any damage to the image of the Prime Minister was because of the activities of third parties who doctored or tampered with the documents that they received from Justo.

He maintained that Justo had not tampered with the documents.

CLARE BROWN PROVEN INNOCENT: IGP MUST WITHDRAW WARRANT, GO AFTER 1MDB & NAJIB INSTEAD - TONY PUA

REPORTED BY MALAYSIA CHRONICLE

October 17, 2015 –
The Sarawak Report continued its exposé on the minutes of the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) Board meetings with the disclosure yesterday indicating that the Directors (BOD) were furious with the top management team led by Datuk Shahrol Halmi.

The minutes dated 3rd October, soon after the signing of the 1MDB-Petrosaudi joint venture agreement, provided a damning confirmation that all the earlier documents leaked by the Sarawak Report were completely authentic.
Instead, the minutes proved that the Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Razak and his cohort of Ministers, as well as the current 1MDB President, Arul Kanda’s repeated attempts to taint the leaked information and documents by the whistle-blower website are clear cut lies. They have obviously alleged that the exposed documents were “doctored” or “tampered” to cover up the multi-billion ringgit scandal.

The minutes revealed that the Board of Directors were furious with the top executives of 1MDB for signing the joint venture agreement in reckless haste, and without any substantive due diligence; the highly suspicious speed of preparation of the valuation report which was prepared by Edward Morse; and most damningly, misappropriating US$700 million to an account unauthorised and unrelated to the joint venture.

The minutes disclosed that the Board “viewed that the formalisation of the joint venture was completed in a very short time which raises questions as to whether adequate control measures, checks and balances were put in place to protect the Company’s interests”. The Sarawak Report had exposed the fact that the top management of 1MDB met with Petrosaudi for the very first time in London on 23rd September 2009 and signed the joint venture agreement a mere 5 days later on the 28th.

"JUSTO DIDN'T DOCTOR DOCUMENTS"

REPORTED BY THE NEW STRAITS TIMES

BANGKOK, October 15, 2015 –
Swiss national Xavier Andre Justo has appealed against the three-year prison term handed down to him by the Bangkok South Criminal Court on August 17 for blackmailing his former employer, PetroSaudi International.
Justo’s new lawyer, Worrasit Piriyawiboon, filed the appeal in the court yesterday morning with 59 pages of supporting documents, just two days before the period to appeal expires.
Among the reasons for the appeal was that Justo did not tamper with the documents he obtained from PetroSaudi and it was his first offence.
This raises a question: If Justo did not tamper with the documents, then who did? Was it Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle Brown or others?

MORE ROPE TO HANG LUKAS STRAUMANN?
REPORTED BY BLOGTAKES
It appears that there will be more rope to hang Bruno Manser Fund’s Dr Lukas Straumann for the defamatory statements made in recent weeks against Sarawak governor Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.
Bruno Manser Fund and Sarawak Report have been challenging Taib to sue them, and claiming that a lack of a lawsuit so far “proves” their case. Which sort of makes sense, provided you don’t think very hard.

They seem to calculate that a Governor, particularly one as proud of his shiny new job as Taib, won’t sue. But more to the point, they would get huge publicity and financial support – notably amongst wealthy activists in Europe – if they could run around claiming that they themselves were under attack.

What they hardly ever point out is that he already HAS sued and won [against Malaysiakini], specifically on the main issue that they hang their hats on: Their claim that Taib set up his brother to control and demand kickbacks from log exports was disproved.

This is probably the biggest single allegation made by Sarawak Report, BMF and Global Witness that has already been tested in court and thrown out. Yet they continue to make it, almost always without telling their readers that it has been disproved.

REWCASTLE-BROWN AND ALLEGED CO-CONSPIRATORS ASKED TO DENY PARTICIPATION IN WHATSAPP GROUP 'MEET'
Those implicated in an alleged conspiracy to topple Datuk Seri Najib Razak's administration have been challenged to deny that they had any part or were involved in the WhatsApp group "Meet".
"Meet" was so named to signify a meeting the key personalities had in Singapore in February, and is part of the evidence Thai authorities had been looking into in its investigations into Xavier Andre Justo's blackmail of his former employer PetroSaudi International Ltd. It is a three-month long thread between Justo, Clare Rewcastle-Brown, who was acting as his broker, as well as The Edge Media Group's top guns, Datuk Tong Kooi Ong and Ho Kay Tat.

Petaling Jaya Utara member of parliament and Public Accounts Comittee member Tony Pua, while not a part of "Meet", was widely mentioned, especially by Rewcastle-Brown and Justo.
